Tonight is the night of nights! It is the Iowa Caucus. You may not realize it but in Iowa we have a caucus every two years not just during presidential years.
So, what happens in an off-year caucus?
In Iowa, political parties use the caucuses to build up their county organizations. The caucus is also the first step in choosing delegates to county, district and state party conventions. This is also the first step in choosing party leaders from the county to the state level.
Most of all it is a great way to get connected with other Republicans, meet candidates and get involved in the local political scene. If you have any interest in Iowa GOP politics, I encourage you to attend you caucus tonight at 7pm. Click the link below to find your caucus location. Caucus starts promptly at 7:00pm so be there early!
